Meritorio Records is a small independent record label based in Madrid, Spain. From indie rock and jangle pop to modern reinterpretations of classic sounds, we work closely with artists to craft releases that connect with audiences worldwide.

Within the universe of Meritorio Records, Cuarto Sonoro emerges as a sublabel dedicated to showcasing the vibrant talent of the Spanish independent scene. Focused on indie rock and pop, its mission is to discover and support new bands and artists who bring freshness, authenticity, and a unique perspective to today’s music landscape.

With a curatorial and artist-centered approach, Cuarto Sonoro acts as a platform that connects local voices with a wider audience, reinforcing Meritorio’s commitment to diversity and innovation in independent music.

The publishing branch of our label operates under the name Meritorio Global Music, dedicated to the management and worldwide promotion of musical works.

Through this activity we ensure that our artists’ songs go beyond their records, creating opportunities for synchronization in film, television, advertising, and video games, as well as collaborations with other industry players. Our goal is to bring the creativity of our musicians to new audiences and contexts, always respecting their artistic vision.

USA orders are shipped from Portland, the rest of the world from Spain. Shipping rates for orders of 2 or more records are even cheaper (worldwide)!
